AERA conference attendees are invited to participate in a social justice fundraising initiative that coincides with the conference in Philadelphia. Currently, the Philadelphia public school system faces many constraints as a result of deep and persistent budget cuts that have resulted in cuts to many programs and services designed to assist low-income and underserved youth. This introductory workshop on Structural Equation Modeling covers basics of path analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and latent variable modeling. Using AMOS Graphics, participants will learn how to build, evaluate, and revise structural equation models.
