Following up on Phoebe's email last week re: the work groups for the revised program committee sponsored sessions, please review the information below about the criteria and the session submission link. As a reminder, the revised session submissions are due Thursday, June 30.
Criteria:
Please keep in mind that Program Committee Sessions should be on a topic of general interest to the AERA members and clearly related to the 2012 Program theme (Non Satis Scire: To Know is Not Enough).
In just a few short days we will be gathering in Vancouver. In preparation, please review the agenda included at the bottom of this email. In addition to the committee meeting on May 19 and 20, please note the meeting with Canadian members and the welcome reception on Wednesday, May 18.
Dear Division Program Chairs, SIG Representatives, and Standing Committee Chairs:
In preparation for our upcoming Program Committee meeting, we want to provide some information to encourage you to think about this year’s theme, Non Satis Scire: To Know is Not Enough, and the development of the program.
Please find below a description of tasks that require your attention before the meeting. We detail the processes and criteria for proposing Program Committee sponsored sessions and nominations for speakers for our two distinguished lectures. Please see below for links to electronic forms to submit your session proposals and nominations.
