AERA-I: Education in the Professions Forum

Preparation of New Publication Platform
(EDiNEB Newsletter September 2006)
http://www.edineb.com/newsletterarticle.asp?id=57

EDINEB is preparing a new publication platform for its members. In close
cooperation with Springer / Social Sciences (http://www.springer.com/)
we are preparing the launch of a new book series which will be published
as hard cover and e-book. This initiative replaces the current book
series "Educational Innovation in Economics and Business" and builds
further on the experiences with this publication platform. Our new
series with the working title "Advances in Business Education" serves as
an international forum for scholarly and state-of-the-art research and
development into all aspects of business science education. It provides
both educators and researchers with a unique opportunity to publish
their work about best practices, empirical studies, and scholarly
reviews. We would like to invite as well HR-professionals and
professionals in the field of Learning and Development to contribute
about learning programs in corporate training, and change practices in
organizations.

We encourage submission of new ideas for Business Education (Graduate &
Undergraduate), and Training & Development in Corporate Training.
Advances in the field of Business Education can only occur when
professionals rethink and examine their field of practice. Our new
initiative aims to work in this spirit.

During start-up we aim to deliver at least one volume per year. Our new
series invites contributions from EDINEB members, conference
contributors, and anyone interested to submit scholarly or
state-of-the-art research in field of Business Education or Training &
Development. Members of the EDINEB Network will receive one free copy
per year as part of their membership.

We are looking for nominations to serve in one of the following roles:

*
	Editor(s), responsible for editorial management of the new
series
*
	Members Editorial Board, responsible for developing publication
ideas
*
	Reviewers, responsible for reviewing submissions to the book
series.

If you are interested to serve in one of these roles, or if you would
like to nominate persons please send an email to Wim Gijselaers:
[log in to unmask] before October 15th, 2006. Please include
your publication record plus a short motivation why you want to serve in
one these roles.
