The Psychology Department at George Mason University seeks
outstanding candidates for a tenure-line position in APPLIED
DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY: specialization in INFANCY AND EARLY
CHILDHOOD. The successful candidate will have strong research
interests in either social/emotional or cognitive/perceptual
development and applied skills in developmental assessment,
intervention, or public policy. Candidates must demonstrate
scholarship capable of attracting external funding and strong
teaching potential/experience at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels. The position is funded at the assistant
professor level; more senior candidates who bring significant
external funding with them are encouraged to apply.
George Mason University is the State University in Northern
Virginia. Located 15 miles west of Washington, D.C., it is
