Assessment Systems, Inc. (ASI), located in Bala Cynwyd,
Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, provides computerized
examinations for a wide variety of licensure and
certification programs. We are currently seeking a
psychometrician to support the development and maintenance of
several of these examinations.

Position: Psychometrician (Project Director II)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide psychometric support for client programs and R&D
projects:
-Conduct item analyses
-Review and interpret item statistics
-Equate and scale examinations
-Conduct cut score studies and job analysis Presentations to
client groups
Write annual technical reports
Publish and present research reports
Qualifications:
Experience providing psychometric support for a large-scale
testing program preferred.
Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications
Experience with the Rasch model and item banking preferred
Organizational ability
High level of computer literacy and technical skill,
including data manipulation, database understanding, strong
knowledge of standard office software packages and
statistical packages
Educational Requirements:
Doctorate in Educational Measurement or a related field
preferred ABDs near dissertation completion or persons with
strong statistical, data analysis, and data manipulation
skills will be considered for this position
