Department of Educational Psychology,
Senior Level Position for a Quantitative Methodologist

Quantitative methodologist. The Research, Evaluation,
Measurement, and Statistics Program in the Department of
Educational Psychology, The University of Georgia, invites
applications for a tenure track position at the Associate or
Full Professor level to begin August, 2002.

Qualifications for the position include: (1) An earned
doctorate in educational measurement and statistics; (2)
commitment to teaching and research; and (3) strong writing
and communication skills.

Responsibilities include teaching some combination of courses
in structural equation modeling, generalizability theory,
hierarchical linear modeling, as well as introductory
measurement and statistics; active involvement in the
solicitation of external funding; advising students and
directing dissertations; maintaining an active research
program; and participation in faculty governance. Interest
and/or experience in issues of educational accountability or
teaching reform is desirable.
