Subject: INSTRUCTIONS FOR JOINING LEAVING USING the Foucault and Education SIG Listserv
Dear Foucault and Education SIG Listserv recipients,
Hi again and sorry for all the traffic of late--it will pass soon,
hang in there!
PLEASE NOTE--YOU CAN REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE LIST EASILY--see the
instructions forwarded below for how to do this--it is simple!!! The
forwarded message is the FIRST message that I sent out--so unless you
joined the list very recently, you should have gotten it. Please save
it for future reference. In the same place that you remove yourself
from the list, you can also re-add yourself to the list if you change
your mind later.
I do not mean any disrespect, but reading is FUNDAMENTAL--it never
ceases to amaze me how the propensity to read instructions decreases
in relationship to increased formal education--smile, that was a joke--
yes, I am taking a cheap shot at academics, myself included :-)
ONE MORE THING--if you have an administrative question--like adding or
leaving the list, please email me or Linda Graham directly--DO NOT
MAIL THE LIST.
Discussion issues/questions/ideas SHOULD be posted to the list, also
SIG Updates WILL be posted to the list.
That's all, again, sorry for all the traffic, hang in there it should
pass very soon!
Best,
Chris

"What are the standards that we have? If we're concerned about
unarmed truth--understanding this condition of truth is allowing
suffering to speak--and unconditional love--understanding justice is
what love looks like in public--then the question is, what suffering
voices do we hear...and what kinds of concerns about justice are made
manifest...?
