join us for the 2015 Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association
(HETL) - Scholarship of Teaching and Engagement (SoTE) Conference to be
held in Orem, Utah, on January 20–22, 2015, in cooperation with Utah
Valley University
Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence.
The conference theme is
Reaching the Summit: Explorations in Meaningful Learning Through Community Engagement. Community-based engaged learning provides students with
authentic and meaningful learning
that applies curricula knowledge to real-world situations.
Presentations are sought on meaningful community engagement by students,
faculty and administration. Presentations on research and global
perspectives on engagement are invited. Three tracks will accommodate
submission:
Track 1: Students and Community Engagement
Track 2: Faculty and Community Engagement
Track 3: Institution and Community Engagement
